Having been a professional musician for many years, 

she was looking for a new creative/artistic outlet after her only child went away to college. 

Her current art form comes out of her love of glass and vintage images. 

The older maps are more colorful, detailed and aesthetically pleasing than new maps.

Rachel loves the memories and emotions they evoke in people who examine the detail in the images – a favorite vacation or honeymoon spot, a college town, a birthplace. Everyone has somewhere that is special to them. 

With a paperweight on their desk, they have a constant reminder of that place.
